Patti Labelle got robbed!

Just when you think reality tv has come to an end, another one pops up. "Clash of the Choirs" For one week that show was my guilty pleasure. I'm a singer so you know I had to love it. The show was fine until they announced the winner. Team Lachey won over Team Labelle! WHAT!
Ms. Patti chose the best and expected the best and they WERE the best. I'm big on harmony and Team Labelle had that on lock!! Were Nick Lachey's fans voting for him out of sympathy? Maybe. Even I'm kinda mad at Jessica Simpson. Or maybe it was the "Flight of the Bumblebee" that sealed the deal. (it was impressive)
Maybe the mainstream world is not familiar with a Diva that can Deliver! "Somewhere over the Rainbow" was mind blowing.
Anyway, Patti got robbed...........

Mario "GO" I really like it!

It seems as though all the new and young R&B sounds the same. Just because a style works for one doesn't mean it will work for all.

I received an advance copy of Mario's new CD and was expecting it to sound the same as everything else that is out there. I was pleasantly surprised.

Track #3 is one of my favorites. It's titled Skippin'. That should definitely be the next single.

He has a few songs that could have easily been on Usher's next effort, but I'm glad Mario has his time to shine.

Call me an ole' cougar but I really like me some Mario!!!

Too Much Time On My Hands

I'm a lover of music, fashion and movies. Well, actually I love almost anything dealing with the media/entertainment. I decided to start this blog for two reasons:

1. I have waaaaaay too much time on my hands.

2. I am very opinionated. After I watch a TV show or hear a new CD, I always have to comment. So, instead of talking to myself, I'll type it out.

Some of what you read may shock you but I feel it my duty to tell the truth.

I guess I've always wanted to be a critic. So listen up as Tippy Talks......................
